Water Tracker
How To Use:
- Firstly, this tracker works best if you use a consistent cup size throughout the day. Please measure a cup of your choice, and then write down in the right column how much water it holds.
- (This measure may change depending on the day, so I opted to include this measure for every day of the week.)
- Then, depending on how many cups of water you drink on any given day, color in one 1x1 square for each cup drank. You should do this inside of the bars in the left column of the page.
- (You can figure out how big the square should be by looking at the grid laid out above and below the bar.)
Purpose:
Firstly, I am not an authority on health and wellness, and you should use this water tracker with caution! The commonly passed around advice that everyone needs to drink 8 cups of water a day is regarded by many authorities on the subject as a myth! If you have certain health conditions or if you take certain medications, then drinking too much water is bad for you! Please take care of yourself, and do not force yourself to drink more or less than you are able. This tracker is used by me because I often forget to drink liquid throughout the day. Tracking how much water I drink is useful to me also because I frequently lose water due to my bathroom habits (i.e. diarrhea). I wanted to include this chart for people like me who struggle with drinking water, and need a little extra cute motivation to do it. I will include resources below to help educate you more on this topic! It’s very interesting.
